My Heart

Both of these pictures fill my heart! I love the picture of David and Bethany as they begin their trek down the aisle. The joy in Bethany's heart is so apparent, and I see a hint of sadness in Dad's eyes as he gives away his daughter. The picture of Bethany and Steven together is so precious to me, they have both become such wonderful young adults. I am so proud of them!

More Pictures

This is a great picture of Bethany and her beautiful matron of honor, Leslie. They have been best friends since 6th grade. This friendship has lasted through multiple moves, separate colleges, and now both of their new lives as married ladies. They are still very close and I think that they will have many years as friends along with their new husbands. I love Leslie just as if she were my own!

Wedding Day 8/7/2010

Andrew and Bethany's wedding day was a blessed day for our family. The wedding was beautiful and we feel so blessed to add Andrew as a member of our family. I feel like he and Bethany will do great things. They both have a heart for God and long to be used by Him. We enjoyed having so many of our family and friends with us and they day was filled with fun and laughter. Thanks to everyone who was a part of making this day so special!

A little nostalgic today...

I am feeling a little nostalgic today, maybe even a little melancholy. As Bethany's wedding is swiftly approaching, I am remembering the little girl that brought so much joy into my life. It seems like such a short time ago that we brought that little bundle home. While I feel like the addition of Andrew into our lives is such a blessing, I am still feeling like I am losing my baby. I guess these are normal emotions for the mother-of-the-bride, but did not expect them to hit quite so hard. So, fellow "mothers-of-the-bride", did you share these emotions? As the pre-wedding week approaches, forgive me for sharing some old memories...

I believe in hands that work, brains that think, and hearts that love.......

I believe in hands that work, brains that think, and hearts that love.......Elbert Hubbard.
This statement describes my husband. He celebrated a birthday this week that sort of got lost in the shuffle of life. He is a quiet man who uses actions to show his feelings. I just wanted to give him a shout out this week for all he does for all of us! Love you, David!

Summer 2010

This summer is a special one in the Schnuelle Home. Our daughter, Bethany, is getting married in August to a wonderful guy, Andrew. We are busy preparing for the big day. Both David and I have completed a few projects for the reception and are looking forward to all our family joining us for the weekend. I will post pictures as the big day approaches.
